A little more of a sensitive shot.
Doll on a music box.
I've been wanting to do a shoot like this for a long time. I love face paint, and shooting something a little unusual. I used flash a lot in these photographs to hide the patchiness of the white face paint. Maybe I shouldn't cheap out so much and get better face paint but hey ho I'm a student!
This was a bit of a sudden photo shoot, I hadn't really thought about any kind of set-ups, I probably should have. I need to start getting back into the swing of A-level photography were you actually planned your shoot out.
Well there isn't much more to say about these images, I hope you liked them, if not, feel free to leave a comment saying why not. I'm always keen to here tips on how to improve etc.
I might be able to get some photographs up of Remembrance day soon. Apologies for this being delayed, but I need to get the OK from higher forces first.
Thanks for reading,
Lewis

I love them! Are you planning on doing the shoot again? Because if you got a costume and maybe slapped her hair fully back (like this http://cdn.glamcheck.com/fashion/files/2012/09/kim-kardashian-slicked-back-hairstyle.jpg maybe) so you can focus on her face fully, it would good! However i do like the shots with the model's hair down :)
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely,
DeleteI think I will do it again you know, but maybe use more than one model as well, I'll try the slicked back hair style but I was also thinking like an old school bob (http://beauty.about.com/od/shorthairstyles/ss/bobcuts.htm) what you think? Perhaps see if I can find an abandoned house or something as well and use that as the location x
yeah i love that idea! or even in the woods or something! could then use the string and a wooden cross, like she is stuck on a tree or something! that would be a good idea x
